Gold Pendant

We are pleased to share a first glimpse of Afon Aur (The River of Gold), a limited-edition Welsh gold pendant inspired by the natural gold veins of the Clogau–St David’s Mine, the source of Royal gold for over a century.

Each pendant will be crafted from 18-carat gold extracted from the Clogau Mine and refined under Alba’s full chain of custody. An initial release of up to five pieces is planned. Every design element, from the bail to the surface texture, is being carefully developed to reflect both heritage and precision craftsmanship.

The engraved line that defines the design is inspired by the Afon Cwm Lechen, the river that flows past the Mine and into the Mawddach Estuary in Snowdonia. It also echoes the quartz veins that carry gold through Clogau’s ancient rocks, symbolising the connection between the landscape, the generations of miners who worked it, and the enduring legacy of Welsh gold.

The pendants will be offered for sale at a set price, with verified Alba shareholders given an initial priority period before wider release. The timing of the launch will be confirmed once final production arrangements are complete.
