These photographs capture the first day of environmental baseline studies at the Motzfeldt Critical Metals Project, being undertaken by BioApp as part of the 2026 field programme.

Baseline studies document existing ecological conditions across areas being considered for potential future development. This provides the reference data needed to assess possible environmental effects and inform appropriate mitigation and monitoring measures.

The findings will contribute to the project’s forthcoming environmental impact assessment and development planning. Together with the geological, processing and engineering programmes, this work is building the technical and environmental evidence needed to support a future exploitation licence application.
