Underground access work at Clogau–St David’s is progressing alongside ongoing mineralogical sampling, supporting a closer examination of the mine’s geology.

In the Tyn y Cornel workings, the east top platform is now complete and fully operational, with two fixing points added to the fall-arrest system to provide a backup. Washing down vein exposures has also begun, preparing the rock for detailed inspection and targeted sampling.

We now have a new geologist dedicated exclusively to Clogau, focusing on sampling, mineralogical work and 3D modelling.

The wider mineralogical review brings together geological observations and samples from across the mine, helping the team identify the strongest areas for further exploration.
