GreenRoc Opens EIFO-Supported Graphite Pilot Plant in Denmark

Yesterday, our Executive Chairman, George Frangeskides and Non Executive Director Mark Austin were in Hørsholm, Denmark for the opening ceremony of GreenRoc Strategic Materials’ EIFO-supported graphite active anode material pilot plant.

George and Mark joined their fellow GreenRoc Directors Stefan Bernstein, Lars Brunner and other members of the GreenRoc team at the event. George was one of the speakers at the ceremony, where he noted the great progress made at GreenRoc following since the decision to spin out and list Arkadian's Greenland assets in late 2021. He also thanked EIFO, who had a strong presence at the ceremony, for their funding support which had been critical in the financing of the pilot plant, and introduced EIFO CEO Peder Lundquist who also then spoke to the audience.

It was good to see such strong interest around the facility and the next stage of GreenRoc’s work. The plant is an important practical step in taking Amitsoq graphite from a high-grade Greenland resource toward battery anode material development in Europe.

For Arkadian, as a significant shareholder in GreenRoc, this is exactly the kind of progress that matters: not just identifying critical minerals, but building the processing pathways needed to support future European supply chains.
