Recent underground activity at Clogau

Recent work at the Clogau-St David’s Gold Mine has included further underground development at the Llechfraith Level 5 target, alongside continued plant processing.

The latest blast took place last Friday and advanced the Level 5 development by a further 1.4 metres. Total advance on Level 5 now stands at 15.2 metres from the survey reference point.

Processing is continuing with material from both Level 5 and the historical waste dump, with the new concentrator now operating as part of the plant circuit.

The team is also recording geological observations at the face, including sulphide occurrence and structural features. These observations support the ongoing technical work to build a clearer understanding of the underground setting as development progresses.
