Motzfeldt 2026 Programme Plan

Motzfeldt’s 2026 programme is designed to connect exploration targeting with the practical work needed for future studies.

Remote sensing is expected to play an important role, with work focused on identifying rare earth mineralisation signatures across the licence area, including neodymium associated with bastnäsite. TheiaX’s hyperspectral work is expected to support this process by helping refine areas for follow-up sampling and field targeting.

That matters because bastnäsite is often associated with pyrochlore at Motzfeldt, helping guide both rare earth and niobium targeting.

At Aries, the planned bulk sampling work is aimed at collecting suitable material for further mineralogical and processing studies. This is less about headline exploration and more about building the technical evidence needed for the next stage.

The programme also includes environmental baseline studies around Motzfeldt Sø and surrounding access pathways, alongside desktop engineering work looking at site layout, infrastructure, logistics and future study inputs.

A structured programme, built around data, targeting and practical project planning.
